ANIMBODY® is a set of embodiment practices that activate the 'anim', the life force, and include organic embodied movement, breathwork, embodied meditation and voicework. Each practice works on our physiology, our neurology and our emotions to soften the nervous system, enliven the senses and deepen sensation in the body and subtlety in the mind. This enables a unique way of connecting to and journeying in the wild that fosters connection, coherence and deep belonging. This is not a yoga retreat, you do not need flexibility or a particular level of fitness or previous experience for these practices, just an openness to move your own body as it wants to move, to observe animal behaviour and embodiment, to sit in periods of silence and contemplation and to receive and share the wisdom of the wild. A great sense of whole body mind wellbeing will arise.

The emphasis is on the 'Wild' and 'Life' - being fully embodied, fully present.


Wild Life Sensing - We have many ways to approach our wildlife viewing - by vehicle, hot air balloon, foot, bicycle and horseback. Each journey will focus on awakened senses, enlivened body and mindfulness achieving body mind coherence and deeper resonance with the animals. We try not to use the terms "Game driving" or even "Safari" as these are colonial words with hunting connotations. Let's de-colonise the safari!


Wild Life Wisdom - there will be discussion and sharing on the wisdom of the wild and we will take time for contemplation on the gifts of wildlife for our own wild self and wild life and also how we can nurture it better. We will share our experiences in fireside conversation.


Wild Aliveness - with this aliveness in our bodies, we will honour the beauty of the earth and celebrate our love for nature in great company of like-minded people, sharing from our experience and go forth with more vibrancy and wild wellbeing imprinted in our body cell memory.
